Great food at fair prices

The food is good but the service was okay.

This is one of those hidden gems of East County. Part of me is actually hesitant to share this because I don’t want it to be overrun but the ambiance is great. White lights are strung along the ceiling with comfy chairs and couches next to an electric fireplace. Food may take some time to prepare but well worth the wait. And the Bistro can serve multiple purposes too: part traditional cafe and part tradition restaurant. Take your pick and you’re bound to be pleased either way.

The food was great! Crab dip very good as were the pizzas. Great service too.

Friendly staff nice casual place to hang out

It's a quite, relaxing kind of place. If you want a little quite in your life. I very much enjoyed coming here. The staff is quite and friendly, answers any questions you have. Window seating for people watching.

Those of us who have been to Europe know there is something special about how restaurants there present their entrees and the pride they have in their family recipes. Bistro 214 exhibits that same culinary love yet with an appropriate local flavor. .

Very fun, local spot with a very personal touch. Food felt fresh and was not over priced (under priced if anything!)

This restraint is relatively new to the downtown aria but the food is truly exceptional. I find it's pretty underrated just because not many people know of it. I would highly recommend this place (the brisket sandwich is delicious).

Decent food, but overpriced.

Okay so just know that we went after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush. so we arrived at around 1 1:15 all the tables were open they were still cleaning up from lunch. Three of us ate one of us had a sandwich nother had a salad and I had a pasta bowl. There were many pasta bowls to choose from. I chose the Santa Fe style pasta bowl it was very tasty. We will return in the future to sample more of their menu. oh by the way they had a very nice coffee bar and the wherewithal to make all kinds of different coffee drinks.

There was only one high chair available in the entire place. Which would have been good to know before going with two children who need high chairs. And the waitress was less than Pleasant and attitude and helpfulness. That being said the food was delicious so maybe if I went back when she wasn't working I'd have a better experience!

Surprising cafe that is not glitzy but inviting. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. My husband and I shared a pizza cut in squares. Whimsical atmosphere.

Food was good. Sandwiches are great from this place. the Corn Chowder was alittle over peppery Imo. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Gresham.

I really enjoy the cheese in the mac.

Great food,coffee ,really nice people

Really enjoyed dinner here, sat outside, and even with a kinda busy street the ambiance was very nice. The cheesy bread twists are addicting!

Came in for lunch at 1pm, we were the only people in the restaurant but it still took almost an hour to order, get, eat and pay for two sandwiches. I would not recommend Bistro 214 if you are short on time (like say only having an hour lunch break). That being said, the food was delicious, both sandwiches came out as ordered and we enjoyed our meal except for feeling rushed.

Good food but waitress had absolutely no personality and was not very polite.

Excellent atmosphere, great staff, delicious food. Plus you have a choice of coffee or beer. Nothing to ever complain about here.

I absolutely love this place! I'm so glad my husband and I stumbled upon them one day. I've brought so many people here and every single person has raved about it. I've never had a bad experience. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service are all excellent! Don't miss out on trying this place!

Good food, small portions. Not unreasonably priced. The girl that was there when we went seemed annoyed by our existence.

Go here and get the bread twists! You won't regret it. My picky husband said it was one of the best things he's ever had at a restaurant. Spinach salad was delicious. Nice family-owned feeling, peaceful atmosphere, great service. And bonus really nice owners who will totally know we wrote this because we couldn't stop raving. A++

Delicious! However, as their first customers of the day, it was odd that they were already out of artichokes. Sad. I really wanted their “King of Hearts” flatbread pizza.

My wife and I ate at Bistro 214 for the first time this evening. It was a wonderful evening with great food and service. We will definitely be coming back. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and can see why this restaurant made the list of some of the finest in Portland.

I called to know their location. As I'm from out of town and here for a wedding. The girl was not friendly at all. I should have taken that as an indication of their service. We finally find the place after walking around the place with a toddler. We walk in.. finally a lady brings menus. Again, not friendly at all. Just blah. No smile no hello, nothing. Our server was ok... however, this place is not gluten free and dairy free friendly. All I could get was a salad and chicken. Seems like stuff us premixed and pre made so kothnot could be separated. I found it kinda odd that I couldn't get eggs and veggies without the Panini bread. Really? You can't just pull it out? Or bring me the darn sandwich and let me do it? If you had friendlier staff, and people who could offer options to people with health issues, maybe I wouldn't have written this review

This is a nice little cafe and I have eaten here many times since moving to the area. I especially love the soups that are made fresh daily. The chef knows soup! They remind me of my mom's. They also have a very nice argula salad that I like a lot. In fact soup and salad is what I always get. Next time I try something new, I will review it here!

Nice quiet bistro with great food and drinks. My wife and I really enjoyed it!

Service not great, panini and salad below par

Excellent food, nice waiter, very cozy ambiance and once one couple left, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Other people are right that this is a hidden gem. I was happy to see many vegetarian options that my man and I could choose from. Definitely coming back for their mushroom soup or even to relax and kick back on their comfy chairs with a coffee.

Bread twist are delicious. Had the Italian trio. It has great flavor and the bread was amazing. Wife like her baked Mac 'n cheese

Heavier fair, but good food. Seating is a little stressed but overall a good experience. We'll go back and try it again soon.

Nice place for a quick lunch. My sandwhich was good as was my salad. This would be a nice place to stop in for an appetizer amd a glass of wine..

4 of us went here for my grandma's birthday and didn't order a bad thing! Everything was absolutely delicious! Will be coming back again.

The lady who works here was extremely snotty. Didn't even greet us when we entered, as she described the menues to us she acted as if she was above us for not knowing her menu. She didn't even give us water, instead she pointed to the bottle which looked like decoration and instead of opening it for us she just walked away. Not friendly, not nice, not warming at all, very poor customer service. It might look like a nice place but the atmosphere was extremely fake. She needs to take the stick out her ass and fix her attitude.

Great restaurant! The food is delicious and affordable. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. The Hungarian mushroom soup is the very best!!but you also have to try their flatbed pizza

Stellar coffee. Better then cafe delirium. The Panini's are on point! Best in town.

Menu is well rounded, Great tasting food, I had the Melt, while my wife had the salmon B.L.T. Both were made perfectly. Definitely our new goto for lunch. Customer service was very helpful, made sure we had everything needed.
